Two major Civil War battles were fought here. Today the park’s open fields and trails are some of the best walking in Northern Virginia.

Manassas grew up around a junction where two railroads met. That junction is a big reason the town, and the battles, happened here at all.

VRE commuter trains and Amtrak both stop at the station in Historic Downtown, a short walk from restaurants and shops.

Walkable streets, local restaurants, shops and the depot, all within a few blocks of each other.
