Some news hits a little harder than others, and this one goes straight to the heart (and the toy box). Kerbobble Toys has announced it will be closing. Its last day open at its current location is Sunday, November 29, 2026.
For a lot of Manassas families, Kerbobble wasn’t just a store. It was the place you went for the perfect birthday gift, the rainy-day rescue, the “just one more” stocking stuffer, and the toy your kid still talks about years later. In a world of one-click shopping, Kerbobble gave us something special: real people who knew their stuff, shelves you could get lost in, and that little spark of wonder the second you walked through the door.
Shops like this are what make a community feel like a community. They know their customers, they bring people together, and they make our town a place worth strolling. Losing one is genuinely unfortunate, and we know we’re not the only ones feeling it.
To everyone at Kerbobble Toys: thank you. Thank you for the smiles, the playtime, and all the years of keeping Manassas young at heart. We wish you nothing but the best on your next journey, wherever it leads. Game on!
And to our readers: there’s still time. Stop in before November 29, say thanks, and pick up a little something to remember them by. Holiday shopping just got a whole lot more meaningful.
