Fall in Manassas means crunchy leaves, cooler nights and, if you know where to look, some seriously good barbecue. The Bone just rolled out its October specials, and we’re not going to sugarcoat it (or should we say sauce-coat it?): this lineup is a big deal.
The OG is back. The Bone’s fried mac n cheese has returned. That means crispy on the outside and cheesy goodness on the inside. If you missed it the first time around, consider this your second chance. If you didn’t miss it, you already know why we’re excited.
Smoked Brisket Birria Quesadilla. This is where barbecue meets taco Tuesday. The Bone takes smoky, savory smoked brisket birria and packs it into a cheesy quesadilla. Brisket and birria in the same bite? Somebody in that kitchen deserves a raise.
Roasted Tomato Soup. The ultimate cozy classic, just in time for sweater weather. Pair it with a traditional grilled cheese, or take it up a notch with The Bone’s birria grilled cheese. Dunking is not optional. We don’t make the rules.
Specials don’t stick around forever, so make no bones about it: get over there before October is over!
The Bone is a locally owned barbecue joint and caterer with spots in Old Town Manassas and Gainesville. They’ve been voted Best BBQ and Caterer in Northern Virginia, and every plate shows why.
