If you’ve ever ordered Lume’s K-Wings and thought, “I wish this came on a bun,” good news: somebody at Lume was thinking the same thing!
Say hello to the K-Chicken Sandwich, the newest yummy item on the menu at Lume Asian Fusion on Center Street in Old Town Manassas. It takes the flavor behind their popular K-Wings, Lume’s own K-sauce with a gochujang base, and slathers it all over a big, crispy fried chicken filet. Then it gets stacked on a toasted brioche bun with lettuce, tomato and red onion, with a pile of fries riding shotgun.
The heat level? “Just a tad spicy,” according to Lume. Enough to wake up your taste buds, not enough to need a fire extinguisher.

We hear you, Yuli. Sweet, sticky, a little spicy and a whole lot of crunch is a pretty hard combo to beat. Pair it with a cold drink on the patio, or grab it to go and eat it in the car before you even get home. We won’t judge.
